For the past 5 years we have been helping the London Mathematical Laboratory organise their annual Summer School, and something we look forward to every year!

We have helped organise this 4-week summer school in various locations throughout Europe over the last few years, most recently in Trieste, Northern Italy.

The summer school attracts over 100 applications from postgraduate students from across the globe. The school offers students a chance to spend 4 weeks undertaking project research with a leading scientist. The school offers only 12 places, and has on average 20 scientific coordinators to lead projects.

We help with arranging the online abstract application process for students, venue finding and management, travel and accommodation bookings for both students and teachers, social events, budgets, marketing and on-site support during the start and finish of the event.

As is often the case with these types of events, they are normally set up by academics that already have full-time jobs at institutions. We help take away the stresses and time-consuming work involved in organising an event of this scale to help free up their time to focus on the event content rather than worry about the organisation.
